Call for NCENA Delegates to ENA General Assembly

**We were able to select 28 delegates with the initial round of applications.  We are still looking to fill 2 more delegate slots.  Applications for these final slots are due by July 7th.  Applications received for these final 2 slots will not impact those already selected.**

Thank you for your consideration in applying to serve as a delegate to represent North Carolina ENA at the ENA General Assembly. Please know that it is a great honor and privilege to serve in this capacity for your State Council. This year the General Assembly will be in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 3 (7:30a-11:30a) and September 4 (9a-3p), 2024.

FUNDING:
- NCENA will provide up to $1,650 in reimbursement for eligible expenses for all delegates.
- Chapters may elect to provide additional reimbursement at their discretion. Please check with your respective chapter for any available chapter funding.

Selection of delegates is on a point system based upon your contributions to the NCENA’s mission and vision, particularly your involvement with ENA at the national, state, and chapter levels.  To be considered for selection as a Delegate, you must:
1. Be an ENA member in good standing (per National ENA Bylaws).
2. Have attended at least 50% of all scheduled Chapter or State Council/General Assembly meetings.

This application must be submitted via email with any necessary supporting documents to the NCENA Board of Directors via email with the subject line “NCENA Delegate Application 2024” no later than July 7, 2024. Please fill out the form with the applicable points for the activities in which you participated or achieved. Please note that the NCENA Board of Directors reserves the right to request written documentation of activities and may contact your Chapter President for verification.

ALL SELECTED DELEGATES MUST ATTEND THE NCENA DELEGATE MEETING:
**NOTE:  Waivers from attending this delegate meeting in-person must be requested to the NCENA Board of Directors at the time of application. Given the importance of in-person delegate preparation, waivers will only be approved in very limited circumstances.**

11:00-12:30 – Lunch/Continuing Education Opportunity
12:30-14:00 – NCENA Delegate Meeting
